UN Women Sounds Global Alarm as Humanitarian Funding Crisis Deepens

Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)UN Women has issued an urgent warning that international funding cuts have deprived more than one million women and girls of essential humanitarian services. According to the agency, nearly 90 percent of women-led organizations operating in conflict and disaster zones report that they are unable to meet increasing humanitarian needs, while many face closure due to financial shortages. UN Women has called on governments and international donors to immediately restore funding to protect vulnerable communities.
