UN Security Council Updates Sanctions List Related to Taliban Regime

New York, United States (HRNW) – The UN Security Council Sanctions Committee established under Resolution 1988 amended an entry on its sanctions list on 27 August. The committee maintains sanctions measures concerning individuals and entities designated under the Afghanistan-related sanctions regime. Such updates form part of the Council’s continuing work on international peace and security.
