Aweil, South Sudan (HRNW) – UN agencies and partners are continuing efforts to strengthen livelihoods and resilience in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, an area bordering Sudan that is affected by cross-border movement, trade and recurring flooding. Recent UN reporting highlights agricultural opportunities in the region while noting that annual flooding continues to restrict production and market access. Humanitarian and development partners are working to strengthen longer-term solutions for vulnerable communities.
