Pakistan to Host the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, Reinforcing Commitment to Women’s Empowerment and Islamic Solidarity

Islamabad (HRNW): Pakistan will host the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women on 12–13 July 2026 at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad, bringing together ministers, senior officials, and delegates from the 57 Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The high-level conference is expected to serve as an important platform for dialogue on advancing women’s rights, empowerment, social inclusion, and sustainable development across the Muslim world. By hosting the conference, Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to strengthening cooperation among OIC member states and promoting policies that support the advancement of women in all sectors of society.
