KOT ADDU (HRNW) – In a significant development in the high-profile Imran Mani murder case, Police Inspector Saeeda Khaliq has been officially dismissed from her service for her alleged involvement in the incident.
According to details, Mian Shabbir Ali Qureshi, a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had aggressively raised the issue of Imran Mani’s innocent killing on the floor of the parliament. Following the uproar in the National Assembly and subsequent public pressure, the federal government transferred the sensitive murder investigation to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Following a rigorous and transparent probe by the FIA, orders for the formal dismissal of Inspector Saeeda Khaliq from her post were issued today. The victim’s family and local civil society circles have welcomed the administrative action, expressing strong hope that the dismissed inspector will soon be brought to justice, placed behind bars, and the aggrieved family will be served complete justice.
