Alleged Illegal Commercialization in Nazimabad 5A-4/33 Sparks Outrage, Residents Demand Swift Action from SBCA and DC Central

KARACHI (HRNW) – Residents of Nazimabad 5A-4/33 have expressed grave concerns over the alleged establishment of commercial shops and ongoing construction activities within a residential building, demanding immediate intervention from regulatory authorities. According to local citizens, the growing trend of unauthorized commercialization in strictly residential zones is creating severe parking shortages and causing immense hardship to pedestrians, as encroached pavements and public pathways are being used by shopkeepers for commercial displays. The affected residents accused the builder mafia and influential elements of blatantly violating building codes by converting residential properties into commercial setups, which is heavily burdening the area’s civic infrastructure, disrupting traffic flow, and destroying local peace. Consequently, the community has strongly appealed to the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem, and other relevant administrative bodies to take immediate notice of the ongoing illegal construction in Nazimabad 5A-4/33, thoroughly verify the building plans and layout approvals, and initiate strict legal action against the violators if any regulatory breaches are established.
