ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – In a major financial relief package aimed at boosting the domestic aviation industry and supporting international airlines, the federal government has announced a massive reduction of PKR 48.80 per liter in the price of jet fuel used for commercial aircraft. According to aviation industry sources, following this substantial downward revision, the new price of jet fuel across the country has been officially established at PKR 283.52 per liter. Since fuel costs traditionally constitute a major and critical portion of the total daily operational expenses for any airline corporation, this significant reduction in aviation fuel prices is highly expected to substantially ease the heavy financial burden on various air carriers, potentially paving the way for more competitive airfares and a positive economic turnaround within the regional aviation sector in the coming days.
