PML-N Parliamentary Board Reviews Over 206 Candidates for AJK Constituencies Under Nawaz Sharif’s Chairmanship

Lahore (HRNW)- A meeting of the Parliamentary Board of Pakistan Muslim League (N) was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and other senior party leaders.

According to sources, the board interviewed more than 206 candidates from 45 constituencies of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) during the meeting. Party President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, along with senior leadership, personally reviewed and interviewed the candidates as part of the party’s selection process.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif will make the final decision regarding party nominees in consultation with board members, while successful candidates in the interviews are expected to be issued party tickets within the next 30 days.

Members of the Parliamentary Board include Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Pervez Rashid, Rana Sanaullah, Amir Muqam, Maryam Aurangzeb, Anusha Rehman, Muhammad Safdar, and Barjees Tahir. In addition, Shah Ghulam Qadir, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider, Mushtaq Minhas, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Najeeb Naqi Khan, Iftikhar Gilani, and Chaudhry Abdul Rehman also attended the meeting.
