Islamabad, Pakistan (HRNW) —The latest security statistics indicate that the ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq is producing significant results, with a notable decline in terrorist incidents across the country.
According to official data, terrorist attacks dropped by 42% in April compared to March. A total of 85 attacks were recorded in April, while 146 incidents were reported in March.
Security sources confirmed that during April, security forces eliminated 224 terrorists in various operations nationwide.
In terms of casualties, 67 people were killed in terrorist attacks in April, compared to 106 fatalities in March. Among the deceased were 28 security personnel, 37 civilians, and 2 members of peace committees.
Additionally, 100 people were injured in attacks during April, including 54 civilians and 46 security personnel.
Authorities stated that the ongoing counter-terrorism operations are steadily improving the security situation, and efforts will continue to ensure lasting peace and stability in the country.
