Drug-Free Campaign: City Police Arrest Two Suspects Involved in Online Drug Supply

KARACHI (HRNW): As part of an ongoing anti-drug campaign, District City Police conducted a targeted operation resulting in the arrest of two suspects involved in supplying narcotics through online platforms and other covert methods. The operation was carried out jointly by the Baghdadi Police and a federal civil sensitive agency.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ghulam Muhammad (alias Ghuulamu) and Farhad. According to police reports, 2 kilograms and 600 grams of hashish (charas) were recovered from their possession. The suspects had been operating a drug supply network across Lyari, its surrounding areas, and various upscale neighborhoods for a significant period.

Police officials noted that while several attempts had been made to apprehend these individuals previously, they had managed to evade capture until now. One of the suspects, Ghulam Muhammad, is a habitual offender with a criminal record involving 10 prior cases, including murder, attempted murder, attacks on police, and the possession of explosive materials.

A case has been registered against the suspects, and further legal proceedings and investigations are currently underway.
