LAHORE (HRNW): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle Lahore has conducted a successful raid, arresting two individuals allegedly involved in illegal currency exchange and Hawala/Hundi operations.
The operation is part of an ongoing crackdown against elements destabilizing the economy through undocumented financial channels and illegal foreign exchange activities.
Details of the Operation:

Location: The suspects were apprehended during a targeted raid in Eden City, Lahore.

Identities: The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Rizwan and Muhammad Adnan.

Recovered Assets: During the raid, FIA officials recovered a total of 9.15 million Pakistani Rupees (PKR 9,150,000) in cash.

Evidence: In addition to the currency, the team seized mobile phones containing digital evidence and records related to Hawala/Hundi transactions and illegal currency exchange.
Legal Action:
According to the FIA spokesperson, the suspects have been taken into custody, and a formal investigation has been launched to trace the network of their clients and accomplices. The authorities are scrutinizing the recovered data to determine the scale of the illegal operations.
