KARACHI (HRNW)- The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has intensified its crackdown on unauthorized constructions in Karachi, sealing an illegal building located at Bizenjo Chowk in the Lyari area. The operation was carried out following the directives of Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, targeting a structure reportedly being constructed under the guise of “Baloch Garage.”
The building was officially sealed under the Sindh Building Control Ordinance 1979. Authorities have issued a stern warning that any attempt to break the seal or enter the premises will result in immediate legal action. To ensure compliance, the SBCA has directed the local police station to maintain strict surveillance over the property and prevent any further construction activity.
This action is part of a broader, ongoing campaign across the city to curb illegal constructions and ensure that all building projects adhere to approved maps and safety regulations. The provincial government has reiterated its commitment to protecting the city’s infrastructure from the proliferation of unauthorized high-rises.
