Islamabad (HRNW)- An important diplomatic breakthrough is expected today, where US Vice President JD Vance, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will arrive in Pakistan today.
According to sources, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will also come to Pakistan along with US Vice President JD Vance for talks with the Iranian delegation. It has been reported that 23 members of the US delegation have already arrived in Islamabad to assist them, including security experts and other team members.
Sources say that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will also arrive in Islamabad late tonight, where important talks are expected between the delegations of the two countries.
It should be noted that earlier, White House Spokesperson Caroline Lutet had said that US President Donald Trump has decided to send his negotiating team to Islamabad for talks with Iran. According to the White House, the negotiating team will include J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who will hold talks in Islamabad on Saturday morning.
On the other hand, Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has informed the Pakistani Prime Minister that a high-level Iranian delegation will come to Islamabad for talks, which is likely to further accelerate diplomatic activities in the region.
