Karachi (HRNW)- A fierce encounter took place between armed robbers and police in the Defense area of Karachi, resulting in the death of one suspect while two police officers were injured during the exchange of fire.
According to the spokesperson for SSP District South, the armed robbers had entered a house with the intention of committing a robbery when police arrived at the scene in time and surrounded the suspects. During the shootout, policemen Shehzad Javed and Arsalan Malik Riaz sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
SSP District South Mahzor Ali visited the hospital soon after receiving the news and met with the injured officers. He instructed the Welfare Incharge to ensure that the best possible medical treatment is provided to the injured personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP praised the courage and professionalism of the police officers, stating that they confronted the suspects bravely while performing their duty. He reaffirmed that Sindh Police remains fully committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and deeply values the sacrifices of its brave personnel.
