4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Parts of Karachi, No Casualties Reported

Karachi (HRNW)- Tremors were felt in several parts of the city on Sunday, particularly in Landhi, Khuramabad, Malir, and Korangi, causing brief panic among residents.

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale, with a depth of approximately 10 kilometers. Officials said the epicenter of the quake was located about 100 kilometers south of Karachi.

Residents reported that after feeling the strong tremors, many people rushed out of their homes and gathered in open spaces while reciting the Kalima Tayyaba. The sudden shaking caused concern among families across the affected neighborhoods.

Authorities have stated that no casualties or damage to property have been reported so far. Monitoring of the situation continues, and officials say they are keeping a close watch for any possible aftershocks.
