Abu Dhabi (HRNW)- The Attorney General of the UAE, Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, has ordered the arrest of 10 suspects from different countries over allegations of spreading misleading content online.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the suspects have been detained for publishing misleading and baseless video clips on social media platforms and will be presented for immediate trial.
Authorities stated that strict legal action will be taken against individuals who spread false information or attempt to mislead the public through social media in the country. Officials emphasized that such measures are necessary to protect public information, social stability, and national security.
