Islamabad – Pakistan (HRNW)– Pakistan’s Foreign Office issued a formal protest claiming that India has manipulated the flow of the Chenab River in violation of treaty obligations.
Islamabad warns that unilateral actions affecting water flow threaten livelihoods, food security, and basic rights tied to water access, stressing that international law and the Indus Waters Treaty must be upheld.
