Pakistan Launches Dollar Eurobonds as It Returns to Global Capital Markets

Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan has launched the process of issuing US dollar-denominated benchmark Eurobonds, marking a significant step toward the country’s return to international capital markets and efforts to attract global investment.

According to Finance Minister’s Adviser Khurram Shahzad, the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Pakistan have initiated the issuance process for global investors. The bonds are being offered in two tranches with five-year and 10-year maturities.

Khurram Shahzad described the Eurobond issuance as an important step toward strengthening Pakistan’s access to global capital markets, particularly following improvements in sovereign credit ratings and economic fundamentals.

He said improved economic stability, stronger macroeconomic indicators and policy measures are helping restore international investor confidence. The government expects the move to create new investment opportunities and support Pakistan’s reintegration into the global financial system.
