Rawalpindi Board Announces 9th Grade Results with 37.56% Pass Rate

Rawalpindi (HRNW)- The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the results of the 9th-grade examinations, with 45,725 candidates declared successful out of 121,739 participants, resulting in an overall pass rate of 37.56 percent.

According to the board, 76,015 candidates failed, while 2,359 students were absent from the examinations. All students who passed or failed the examination have been promoted to the 10th grade.

Female students outperformed male candidates, recording a success rate of 46.48 percent, compared with 27.99 percent among boys.

Chairman BISE Rawalpindi Professor Dr. Iqbal said during the results announcement that the board’s system has been completely digitalized and the practice of using unfair means has been eliminated.

He further announced that there will be no separate supplementary examination for 9th grade. Candidates requiring a supplementary attempt will take it alongside the annual examinations.
