Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Arrives in Bishkek for SCO Summit

Bishkek (HRNW): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Kyrgyzstan’s capital, Bishkek, to participate in the annual Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, where he is scheduled to address the gathering.

Pezeshkian is on a two-day visit to Kyrgyzstan to attend the 2026 SCO Summit.

During his visit, the Iranian president is expected to meet Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, the President of Tajikistan, and the prime ministers of India and Pakistan.

At the invitation of the Kyrgyz president, Pezeshkian will also attend the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.

On the second day of his visit, Pezeshkian is scheduled to address the meeting of SCO and SCO Plus leaders. His agenda also includes a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
