Karachi (HRNW)- Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that ongoing development projects across the province demonstrate the government’s performance and show that Sindh is moving forward.
Sharjeel Memon said roads are being constructed, houses are being built and electricity is being generated across Sindh. He said the province’s development program for fiscal year 2025-26 stands at Rs1.018 trillion, covering 3,642 schemes.
He said that over the past five years, 5,636 kilometers of roads have been constructed and 1,460 schemes completed. He also highlighted the construction of 2.1 million houses for flood victims and the generation of 3,240 MW of electricity from Thar coal, along with wind and solar energy projects.
According to the minister, 3,675 miles of canal-lining projects have been completed, saving 5,880 cusecs of water. He said Sindh’s development benefits people across Pakistan through the province’s resources and services.
Sharjeel Memon said opponents demand an account of development, while the provincial government presents statistics rather than political speeches as evidence of its performance.
