TikToker Kashif Zameer Booked in Another Case Over Alleged Threats to Fraud Complainant

Lahore (HRNW) – Another criminal case has been registered against well-known TikToker Kashif Zameer, this time on allegations of issuing threats to a complainant following an earlier fraud case. The FIR was lodged at Mazang Police Station on the complaint of Dost Muhammad, who is affiliated with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Karachi.

According to the complainant, Kashif Zameer allegedly defrauded him of PKR 1.94 million by promising to arrange his travel to Italy. A separate fraud case regarding the alleged scam had already been registered at Gulberg Police Station, Lahore, where investigations are currently underway.

The FIR states that after the fraud case was filed, the accused allegedly began sending threatening messages to the complainant via WhatsApp and other communication platforms, pressuring him to withdraw the case. The complainant reportedly submitted the alleged threatening messages and other supporting evidence to the police.

After reviewing the complaint and preliminary evidence, Mazang Police registered a new case against Kashif Zameer under Section 506 (Criminal Intimidation) of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 25(D) of the Telegraph Act, 1885.

Police officials said that legal proceedings are continuing and that the allegations will be examined as part of the ongoing investigation. The accused will have the opportunity to respond to the charges during the legal process.
