Islamabad (HRNW): Judicial Commission of Pakistan member Farooq H. Naek has submitted a list of nominees for appointment as Additional Judges of the Sindh High Court.
According to reports, Senator Farooq H. Naek has formally forwarded a list of 16 nominees to the Secretary of the **Judicial Commission of Pakistan> under Article 175A of the Constitution of Pakistan.
The proposed list comprises two District and Sessions Judges (DSJs) and 14 advocates. The two judicial officers recommended are Dr. Ambreen, District and Sessions Judge, Karachi West, and Ghulam Shah, District and Sessions Judge, Hyderabad.
The advocates nominated for consideration include Shazia Hunjrah, Mohsin Shahwani, Barrister Zulfiqar Jalbani, Barrister Jamshed Malik, Barrister Sandeep Mulani, Nasrullah Korai, Qazi Muhammad Bashir, Dr. Shahnawaz Memon, Samiullah Soomro, Barrister Baloch Ahmed Junejo, Ali Raza Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Ali Gul Abbasi, and Muhammad Rashid Khan Mahar.
The nominations will be considered by the Judicial Commission in accordance with the constitutional procedure for appointments to the Sindh High Court.
