Gul Plaza Tragedy: Two Civil Defence Officers Dismissed Over Negligence and Corruption

Karachi (HRNW) — Two Civil Defence officers have been dismissed from service following allegations of negligence and corruption in connection with the Gul Plaza tragedy.

According to officials, the allegations against the two officers were proven, including failure to conduct mandatory fire-safety audits and preparation of backdated inspection reports.

The officers were subsequently terminated from service following departmental proceedings.
