Gujranwala Mass Transit System Approved as Major Urban Transport Project

Lahore, Pakistan (HRNW) — A high-level meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore approved the design of the Gujranwala Mass Transit System, marking a major development in urban transport planning.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that all areas of Gujranwala be connected to the metro rail system through feeder bus services to ensure improved and integrated public transportation facilities for citizens.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that the completion of the Gujranwala Mass Transit System will transform the city’s transport culture and provide citizens with a modern, efficient, and high-quality travel system.

She further added that the Punjab government is committed to upgrading public transport infrastructure and expanding urban mobility projects across the province to facilitate the public.
