IHC Fixes March 31 Hearing in £190 Million Case Against PTI Founder, Bushra Bibi

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Islamabad High Court has scheduled March 31 for hearing the £190 million case involving the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi. According to the cause list issued by the Registrar’s Office, Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif will preside over the hearing.

The court has sought a response from the counsel of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi regarding NAB’s objections, in which the bureau has argued that the applications for suspension of sentence are not admissible. Both the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have filed pleas seeking suspension of their sentences, which were handed down by the accountability court on January 17, 2025.
