Islamabad (HRNW)- The news circulating on social media and some unverified sources claiming that Islamabad’s airspace has been closed has been strongly denied by the authorities. Officials stated that these reports are baseless and misleading, and have no connection with the current situation on the ground.
The authorities clarified that Islamabad International Airport remains fully operational, and flight operations are continuing as scheduled. Both domestic and international flights are landing and departing without interruption.
According to concerned officials, no restrictions or closure have been imposed on the capital’s airspace, and the air traffic system is functioning normally.
Authorities have urged the public to refrain from sharing false and unverified information on social media and to rely only on announcements and updates issued by official and authentic sources.
