Tragedy in Gujar Khan: Gas Leak Explosion Claims Young Woman’s Life, Destroys Four Homes

RAWALPINDI (HRNW): A devastating gas leak explosion in the Thakrah Nurali area of Gujar Khan has resulted in the death of a 24-year-old woman and left four others injured.

According to rescue officials, the blast was so powerful that it completely destroyed four neighboring houses. The sound of the explosion echoed throughout the locality, causing widespread panic. In the aftermath, local residents took part in self-help rescue efforts, clearing debris to recover valuables and assist the victims.

Police sources confirmed that the incident was caused by an accumulation of leaked gas within a residential property. The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Authorities have cordoned off the site, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the leak.
