Karachi (HRNW)– Following the violent incident in Ramswami, where a young man lost his life after being struck by a dumper, the City Court has dismissed the bail plea of Dumpers Association President Liaqat Mehsud and cancelled his interim bail.
The court observed that the accused’s actions fall under terrorism, citing video evidence showing his guard firing directly at citizens, spreading fear and panic. The guard was also found to possess an expired and unauthorized firearm permit.
This tragic case highlights the urgent need for accountability, legal support for victims, and stronger human rights protections.
