Islamabad (HRNW)- The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has summoned arguments for September 3 on the post-arrest bail applications of 96 accused arrested in a case registered over Kashmir-related protests in Sector F-10 of the federal capital.
ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the bail applications, but arguments could not proceed due to the unavailability of the case record and investigation officer. The prosecution informed the court that the case record and investigation were currently with the Islamabad High Court.
The judge directed the prosecution to ensure that the relevant records are presented at the next hearing and adjourned the proceedings until September 3.
Police had registered the case under terrorism provisions at Shalimar Police Station in connection with protests in Islamabad over the situation in Azad Kashmir.
