Barrister Gohar Raises Concerns Over Imran Khan’s Hospital Transfer

Islamabad (HRNW) — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan expressed strong concerns in the National Assembly over the hospital transfer of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Barrister Gohar said the Supreme Court’s order was clear and that it was expected to be implemented in full. He questioned who was responsible for transferring Imran Khan to what he described as the “wrong hospital.”

Expressing disappointment over the development, he said, “It is extremely unfortunate. We did not expect this to happen.”

The PTI chairman further questioned whether there were individuals who did not want the political issues to be resolved.

Referring to the Supreme Court’s directive, Gohar said, “The Supreme Court order was very clear that the judicial decision would be fully implemented.” He added that the party had not expected Imran Khan to be shifted to another hospital.

Gohar also criticized the political response to the situation, saying, “This is not how negotiations take place.”

He alleged that the developments amounted to a violation of the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s order.

Warning of possible political consequences, Barrister Gohar said, “Perhaps we may not be in the Assembly after a few days; congratulations on your style of democracy.”
