Garbage Collector Boy Discovers Young Ibrahim’s Body Police Accused of Mistreatment

Karachi (HRNW) – The tragic case of three-year-old Ibrahim, whose body was recently recovered, has taken a disturbing turn. Reports indicate that it was not the government, led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, with its multi-billion budget, that found the child’s body—but a young garbage collector boy who stumbled upon it during his work.

According to eyewitnesses, when police officials arrived at the scene:

  • They initially interrogated the boy instead of focusing on the body.
  • He was allegedly slapped by the police before being allowed to report the discovery.
  • Police reportedly tried to take credit for finding the body themselves.

Human rights activists and community members are demanding that:

  1. The police officers involved in assaulting the boy be dismissed from their jobs.
  2. The young boy, who displayed remarkable responsibility, be honored as a hero, with the government ensuring his education or employment support.

While protecting citizens and investigating crimes is the state’s responsibility, this boy’s courage and initiative deserve special recognition and encouragement.
