Faisalabad (HRNW) – A criminal case has been registered against a Patrolling Police Head Constable in Faisalabad for allegedly traveling abroad on a private passport without obtaining the required departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC).
According to police sources, Head Constable Asghar Ali is accused of violating departmental rules and regulations by undertaking foreign travel without prior official permission.
The matter reportedly came to the attention of SSP Patrolling Mirza Anjum Kamal, following which a departmental inquiry was conducted. Based on the inquiry’s findings, legal proceedings were initiated.
Police said the case has been registered at Kotwali Police Station under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and Article 155-C of the Police Order, 2002.
According to the sources, the accused allegedly traveled abroad using a private passport without securing the mandatory departmental approval and NOC required for serving police personnel.
Officials stated that the investigation is ongoing and that further legal action will be taken in accordance with the law once all relevant facts have been established.
