Washington (HRNW)- US Vice President JD Vance has said that Washington’s first priority amid the ongoing conflict with Iran is to keep oil and gas prices low in the United States, while its second priority is to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
In a television interview, Vance said the United States is working toward achieving both objectives during the ongoing conflict. He described the situation as uncertain and complex, saying Iran’s actions can sometimes be unpredictable and that Tehran has not always followed through on previous commitments.
Vance said the uncertainty makes it difficult to predict how the situation will develop, but added that the United States is closely monitoring events while keeping its key priorities in focus.
