Renowned Female Lawyer H. Khunza Advocate Passes Away; Laid to Rest in Her Ancestral Village Seen

CHITRAL (HRNW) – Mst. H. Khunza Advocate, a well-known legal practitioner who was serving as the only active practicing female lawyer in Chitral city, has passed away after a brief illness. She was under 35 years of age.

According to details, H. Khunza Advocate suddenly fell ill on the second day of Eid-ul-Adha and was immediately admitted to a local hospital. Due to her deteriorating condition, doctors referred her to Peshawar for advanced medical treatment. However, while she was being rushed to Peshawar, her condition worsened, and she breathed her last near the Charsadda Interchange before reaching the destination.

In a relatively short span of time, H. Khunza Advocate had established a prominent name for herself in the legal fraternity through her hard work, dedication, and professional competence. Being the sole female lawyer in Chitral city, her untimely demise is being viewed as a tremendous and irreparable loss for female litigants in the region, whose legal rights she consistently championed. The news of her sudden passing has deeply grieved everyone who knew her, leaving the local community in shock.

Following the funeral prayers, she was laid to rest today amidst tears and prayers in her ancestral village of Seen, Chitral. May Allah Almighty grant the departed soul the highest ranks in Jannah and bestow courage and patience upon the bereaved family to bear this monumental loss.
