The Complainant’s Stance: According to FIR No. 290/26 registered at the Murree Police Station, Abdul Waheed, a resident of Rawalpindi and son of Muhammad Hussain, submitted a formal complaint stating that he had been visiting Farooq Hospital near Hall Road, Murree, for the past month for his wife’s medical treatment.

The Voyeurism Attempt: According to the complaint, on May 26, 2026, his wife went into the hospital’s ladies’ washroom to change her clothes. While inside, she noticed that an unidentified individual had pushed a mobile phone through the washroom’s ventilator window and was allegedly making a secret video recording of her. Upon the woman raising an alarm, the suspect immediately fled the scene.

Immediate Police Response: Immediately following the incident, the victim’s family reported the matter via the police helpline 15. Following the media broadcast of the news, the police took prompt action and registered a case under Section 354 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
