High-Profile Inmate Pinky alias Anmol to be Shifted to SIUT Under Strict Security Amid Illness

KARACHI (HRNW) – The Sindh Prison Department has decided to temporarily shift a high-profile and highly wanted female inmate, Pinky alias Anmol, to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) following a deterioration in her health.

The Inspector General (IG) of Prisons has declared the matter highly urgent given the inmate’s dangerous criminal profile. Directives have been issued to enforce foolproof security measures during her transit from the Central Jail to the hospital.

Details regarding the security arrangements and the inmate’s profile include:

Strict Security Logistics and Specialized Deployment

  • Specialized Squads and APCs: To prevent any untoward incident during transit, prison authorities have requested a specialized police escort and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) from the Karachi Police.

  • Lady Police Deployment: In compliance with prison protocols for female detainees, a dedicated team of lady police officers will accompany her throughout the medical visit.

  • Senior-Level Supervision: The IG Prisons has mandated that senior police officials personally supervise the entire security operation, ensuring tight vigilance during her arrival, medical check-up, and return to the correctional facility.

Wanted in 23 Criminal Cases

According to prison officials, Pinky alias Anmol is classified as a top-tier, high-profile prisoner. She is facing trial and has been booked in at least 23 serious criminal cases, spanning terrorism, heinous crimes, and anti-state activities.

Per medical and jail manuals, specialist doctors at SIUT will conduct a comprehensive medical examination, after which a decision regarding her hospitalization or immediate return to jail will be made based on her diagnostic reports.
