QUETTA (HRNW): The Government of Balochistan has announced the immediate closure of all educational institutions across the province, effective from tomorrow until March 23. According to a notification issued from Quetta, the decision to shut down schools has been taken in view of the prevailing situation in the region.
The Secretary of Colleges further confirmed that the directive extends to all colleges and universities throughout Balochistan, which will also remain closed until the 23rd of March. Despite the suspension of regular classes, the Provincial Education Department clarified that the ongoing school enrollment campaign and the digital school census will continue to proceed according to their pre-planned schedules. This move is seen as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff amidst the current regional circumstances.
