Muscat (HRNW)- Important direct talks between the United States and Iran are set to begin today in the Omani capital, Muscat, without the participation of any third country. Iran will be represented by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, while the US delegation will include President Donald Trump’s special representative Steve Whittaker and possibly Jared Kushner. Sources say the discussions will focus on rising regional tensions and Iran’s nuclear program, as well as future diplomatic strategies. Pakistan and other countries are not part of these talks. Relations between the US and Iran have been strained for years, particularly over nuclear issues, sanctions, and Middle East security, and these talks are seen as a potential breakthrough in bilateral relations.
