Islamabad / Faisalabad (HRNW) – A criminal case has been registered against two Faisalabad Police officers following an official inquiry into allegations that they fabricated court records and a judicial case file (“misal”) in an attempt to implicate and arrest a resident of Islamabad.
According to available information, the inquiry revealed that the Islamabad resident was allegedly inserted into a 2025 criminal case through a fabricated judicial file. The matter came to light after an attempt was reportedly made to arrest the individual in Islamabad, prompting further investigation.
Officials stated that, following information provided by Islamabad Police, senior officers of Faisalabad Police initiated an inquiry, which allegedly uncovered irregularities in the court record and the judicial file. Based on the findings, legal proceedings were initiated against the officers concerned.
Reports also claim that after the alleged misconduct was exposed, a misleading campaign targeting Islamabad Police appeared on social media. Authorities are reportedly reviewing these claims as part of the broader investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have stated that any further action will be taken in accordance with the law and the evidence gathered during the inquiry.
