Human Rights Perspective

Human Rights News Worldwide (HRNW) emphasizes that cases involving alleged corruption in public projects require transparent investigations, accountability, protection of public resources, and fair judicial proceedings.

Funds allocated for development projects belong to the public, and ensuring transparency and accountability in their use is essential. At the same time, human rights principles require that every accused person is entitled to a fair trial, legal defence, and the presumption of innocence until a final court verdict is issued.

A transparent accountability system not only helps prevent corruption but also strengthens public trust in state institutions and the justice system.
