Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW) – UN Women has warned that more than one million women and girls have lost access to life-saving humanitarian assistance due to severe international funding cuts. According to the agency’s latest report, nearly 90% of women-led organizations in humanitarian settings are struggling to meet growing needs, while many have reduced services or face closure. UN Women urged governments and donors to restore funding to protect vulnerable women and girls affected by conflicts and humanitarian emergencies.
