Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin Hold High-Level Talks on Iran, Ukraine and Global Security

Beijing (HRNW)- Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing, where the two leaders are expected to hold detailed discussions on key global issues including energy, defense and arms deals.

According to international media reports, the talks between China and Russia are taking place at a time when the situation in Ukraine, Iran and the Middle East is having a profound impact on global politics.

During the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed the ongoing tensions related to Iran and said that an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire is the need of the hour.

Xi Jinping said that restarting war or military action would be more dangerous, while maintaining the dialogue process is extremely important.

The Chinese president also stressed that diplomatic solutions should be prioritized to maintain stability in the region.

On the other hand, energy cooperation, arms deals and economic partnership were also discussed between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chinese leadership.

According to analysts, the wars in Iran and Ukraine are further strengthening relations between Russia and China, while the two countries are adopting a common strategy to counter US influence globally.

Experts say that this meeting in Beijing could have significant implications for global politics, energy markets and the security situation in the region.
