Former Indian Security Official Acknowledges Pakistan’s Narrative Gains Ground, Claims Diplomatic Advantage

New Delhi (HRNW)- Pakistan’s victory in the war of truth and facts-based narratives has also been acknowledged by India.

India is using all its resources and proxies to promote its narrative against Pakistan; however, despite the Modi government’s propaganda-based messaging, Pakistan’s position is being described as increasingly influential. India’s former Deputy National Security Advisor Arvind Gupta has also reportedly acknowledged that Pakistan’s narrative has gained traction.

Arvind Gupta said that Pakistan’s narrative has been successful because it has been developed over decades, adding that individuals linked to ISI, ISPR and other institutions remain active across multiple platforms as part of a long-term strategy to counter the Indian narrative.

He also reportedly stated that Pakistan’s position has gained attention in regional diplomatic contexts, including references related to Gulf tensions.

According to analysts, when former senior security officials express concerns about their own national narrative, it raises questions about perception management. India, they argue, has focused more on global image-building, while Pakistan has worked on shaping its narrative through sustained diplomatic engagement.

Experts say this reflects broader competition in information and diplomatic influence between the two countries.
