Karachi (HRNW)- Pakistan’s largest tractor manufacturer, Millat Tractors Limited, has started considering the possibility of manufacturing electric bikes in the country.
The company informed about this development in a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday. According to the notice, in response to recent market speculations regarding its entry into the electric motorcycle sector, the company has clarified that one of its group companies is currently evaluating the feasibility of manufacturing EV bikes in Pakistan.
The announcement further said that the project is still in its early stages and a final decision in this regard will be taken after a market feasibility and technical assessment.
According to company sources, if this project goes ahead, it could prove to be an important step in the development of the electric vehicle industry in Pakistan.
