Tehran, Iran (HRNW) — Iran has stated that it remains open to diplomacy, but insists that the United States must change what it described as a “threatening tone and approach” in order for meaningful engagement to continue.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran is willing to keep diplomatic channels open, emphasizing that dialogue remains possible if mutual respect is ensured.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Pakistan is being considered as a formal mediator in any potential talks between Iran and the United States. The ministry added that if a final decision is reached regarding negotiations, an official announcement will be made.
Officials further stated that diplomatic efforts are still in the exploratory phase and no final agreement on talks has yet been confirmed.
