Iranian President Offers to End War with US and Israel if Strong Guarantees Are Provided

Tehran (HRNW) – Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian has expressed willingness to end the ongoing conflict with Israel and the United States, provided strong guarantees are given that Iran will not face attacks in the future.

According to Iranian media, President Peshkeshian told European Council President Antonio Costa in a phone conversation that the only way to normalize the situation caused by US and Israeli strikes is for the aggressors to halt their attacks. He emphasized that Iran has never initiated war or tension and will consider ending the conflict if assurances are provided to prevent future aggression.

The Iranian president also highlighted that Iran respects the sovereignty of neighboring countries and has attacked US bases only when left with no other option.
