Lahore (HRNW)- The cancellation of flights to Middle Eastern destinations from airports across Pakistan continues, causing significant inconvenience and distress for passengers.
According to sources, a total of 92 bilateral flights to various Middle Eastern countries were canceled today from major international airports, including Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
Details reveal that 20 flights to destinations such as Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, and Iraq were canceled from Karachi Airport, while 28 flights to Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Muscat were canceled from Islamabad International Airport.
Similarly, 18 flights to Kuwait, Doha, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi were canceled from Lahore Airport, and 16 flights to Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi were canceled from Peshawar Airport.
In addition, 4 flights from Multan Airport and 6 flights from Sialkot Airport to cities including Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, and Bahrain were also canceled. However, flight operations to the Middle East remained normal at Faisalabad Airport.
Airport officials stated that the total number of canceled flights from Pakistan to the Middle East has surged to 2,092 over the past 19 days, reflecting the ongoing impact of regional tensions on air travel.
