Lahore (HRNW)- The Punjab government has introduced a special financial assistance program for deserving citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, under which eligible individuals will receive a cash allowance of Rs. 5,000.
According to the official announcement, the initiative aims to ease the impact of inflation and enable underprivileged families to share in the joys of Eid. Citizens can check their eligibility by sending their National Identity Card (CNIC) number via SMS to 8070.
Officials stated that once an applicant is verified as eligible, the financial assistance will be transferred directly to their Easypaisa or JazzCash account, ensuring transparency and convenience in the distribution process.
The Punjab government has urged the public to provide accurate information and benefit from this program to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with happiness and dignity.
