Karachi (HRNW)- Saim Ayub has become the most expensive player to be retained in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The Hyderabad team has retained Saim Ayub for a hefty fee of Rs 126 million.
Saim Ayub was retained by Hyderabad in its team after being released from Peshawar Zalmi. After this retention, Saim Ayub’s PSL compensation has become more than that of Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan.
Other players retained by Hyderabad include aggressive batsman Usman Khan, who has been retained for Rs 46.2 million.
In the emerging category, Moaz Sadaqat has been retained for Rs 35 million, while Akif Javed has been retained for Rs 19.6 million in the gold category.
These retentions of Hyderabad in the PSL are being described as an important step towards making the team even stronger in the upcoming season.
